Heritage Hearth & Home is a cottage business rooted in over 160 years of family farming. Neslted on our regenerative farm just outside of Mendota, free from pesticides and herbicides we grow, bake and craft with intention and love.

From crusty and creative sourdough, tender yeasted breads, and decadent cakes and cookies our baked goods are hand made. Our half-acre kitchen garden produces fresh seasonal produce and cut flowers throughout the year with strawberries, radishes and peas arriving soon.

We also offer handcrafted pantry staples like pure vanilla extract, vanilla paste, vanilla sugar and an ever-growing collection of artisonal extracts, salts and sugars. When the seasons allow, you'll also find handmade gnomes, pot holders, trivets, mug rugs, table runners and more.

Everything we offer carries the heritage we build on bringing it forward to the next generation.

We operate a local greenhouse business specializing in hydroponic lettuce. Our controlled environment allows us to provide fresh produce year-round. We have recently jumped into quail production so that we can provide nutrient dense quail eggs for human and pet consumption!

Our family started 'Fresh' on this farm in 2014. We planted a garden here before we even owned the place and we've been growing things (organically) on this dirt ever since. Bunnies, chicks, ducklings, piglets, seedlings, saplings, and human babies too! Ha! We are proud to grow the food that feeds your families, regeneratively and sustainably. Our main crop is ever-loved garlic, but we offer lots of other vegetables, herbs, fruits and grains too!

Though we do not do direct farmer's marketing now, we are part of Down at the Farm drop to sell to various urban markets. Rolled, whole and Oat flour are items we have available every week. We also do some herbs and summer spinach and some fruit in season .
